Tharaka-Nithi County Governor Muthomi Njuki has announced that President William Ruto will tour the county on 26th April 2026.
Speaking at PCEA Igambang’ombe Church, Governor Njuki noted that the President will attend a fundraiser at PCEA Jennifer Njuki Memorial Church to support the completion of its construction.
“The President will join us for a fundraiser at PCEA Jennifer Njuki Memorial Church to raise funds towards the construction of the church on 26th April. I extend an invitation to everyone who can join us on that day as we welcome the President to our county,” the Governor said.
Njuki emphasized that the visit presents a great opportunity for the President to address key development projects in Tharaka-Nithi and engage directly with residents.
He acknowledged that major infrastructure projects were already underway following the President’s intervention, including the construction of the county assembly chambers, which are expected to be completed by October 2026.
“President Ruto is not just coming to Rubate; he is coming to Tharaka-Nithi. He will speak about infrastructure projects as well as other government initiatives. The visit will be a big boost for us, and we look forward to hosting the President here,” Njuki said.
“Through the President’s support, the construction of our county assembly chambers has begun. We will stand by his leadership since such projects are upgrading our county’s infrastructure,” he added.
